Location

Villa Gajah Putih is located in a small village about 10 miles or 16 kilometers north of Kuta and the airport, and it's just 15 minutes to the Nirwana Golf Course near the famous Tanah Lot temple. Away from Bali's tourist crowds but offers easy access to the restaurants and shops of Legian and Seminyak, "Villa Gajah Putih" is a perfect base to explore the island of Bali.

The 2-hectare property has 200 yards beach frontage and features a beautiful tropical garden with lotus and fish ponds, a 10 x 20 meter swimming pool, a unique 3m x 4m sauna with walls of one-way mirrored glass offering a full view of the garden, the ocean, and Bali's famous sunsets from a position of complete privacy. There's a private tennis court, an archery range, and two airy gazebos next to the beach

The Villa

The Main Building is about 15,000 square feet or 1,400 sq. meters. The ground floor features very spacious open-air living areas, a billiard lounge, and a large dining area with a teak wood dining table for 16 guests. A 37" television set is connected to a satellite antenna to receive American, French, Chinese, Thai, Singaporean and Australian TV programs as well as several movie channels.

The huge breezy terrace on the upper floor offers magnificent views of the gardens and the ocean where you can enjoy sun-set moment. It is furnished with lounge chairs, day beds, and a massage table, and there is a video projector with a 2 x 2.20 meter screen, video disk player and surround-sound system.

Bedrooms

The huge master suite has a custom-made teak wood bed of 2 x 2.4 meters and a large walk-in dressing wardrobe; three of the four spacious guest suites have two queen-size beds each.

All bedrooms are air-conditioned, offer sweeping views of the grounds, and feature huge en-suite marble bathrooms with two sinks, family-size sunken bath tubs, and double-showers. The two recently added guest suites in an adjacent new wing feature also spacious dressing areas connecting bedroom and bathroom.

The direct telephone lines can be accessed from each bedroom.

Kitchen & Service

The modern, fully equipped kitchen is separated from the main house and supervised by an Italian-trained Chef. The whole property is serviced by 24 well-trained full-time staff including an Italian manager, gourmet cooks, room maids, laundress, gardeners, 24-hour guards, etc. Many of the key staff live in separate staff quarters on the property.

Fresh vegetables are naturally grown without pesticides in the estate's own vegetable and herb garden.
